Recipe: Easy Morning – Porridge

Recipe_Porridge_1Today I have a really easy recipe for you. People say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I agree. Even if I’m in a rush in the morning I always try to have breakfast. After eatring breakfast I have much more energy for the day and when I’m at university I can concentrate myself much better. One of my favourite breakfast possibilities is porridge. There many diffrent variations to do it and I’m gonna show you the most EASIEST way.

Ingredients for one person:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of water
  • maybe fruits
  • maybe honey or sweeteners

Preparation: Put the milk, the water and the oats together in a pot and heat it. (But pay attention so you don’t burn the milk!) and wait for the mixture to become pulpy. Let everything simmer for another ten minutes until the porridge gets the right consistency. That’s all you have to do. You can sweeten the porridge with honey or a sweetener. Then you can decorate it with the fruits you like. This time I chose mandarins and grapes.
