Hey lovelies! I’m finally writing again and I have no clue where to start. If you are following us on Instagram (and I hope you do, cause we’ve been much more aktive there), you sure have noticed this has been quite a busy summer for me. “Funny” thing is, I’m not even on holidays at my 24h job. I just move my shifts around, so currently I’m either working or escaping the city. So until now I’ve been to Graz to visit the lovely Dilan from  dilanergul.com, to Glasgow together with Beatrice to visit our friend Madeeha that stayed there for almost a month, to Croatia with my family and last weekend to Helsinki for a wedding. Tomorrow I’m leaving again for a festival, but at the end of it, I’m going to stay in Vienna for a while. Thank god! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love, love, love being so busy, traveling, visiting my friends and exploring new stuff all the time. But since I haven’t had any free days to just be or write here, I start to crave a bit of quietness and relaxing time too. The older I get (and yes that sounds kinda weird coming out of my mouth, since I’m only turning 25 at the end of the month), I realize that finding the balance between an aktive, social life and relaxing time for myself is one of the hardest to achieve but also most important goals in my life. In course of the last weeks, I collected a lot thoughts about that, but since I’m only in Vienna for the day, writing them down needs to wait a bit.

I still wanted to say hi to you guys tho and show you one of my summer-is-freaking-hot-in-the-city outfits. You’ll probably notice that these pictures were taking before my trip to Croatia since I’m as pale as yoghurt or my favourite comparison mozzarella cheese. Looking back at these pics, I’m still not sure how I feel about them, since I’m not used to seeing so much of my skin (and believe me, after hiding your arms for two decades, a spaghetti strap top is quite a challenge – especially when said top is kinda see through as well ????), but with the heat we’ve been living in here in Vienna, this top has become one of my favourites and I gotta say: the quote “fake it till you make it” nails it. Even when it comes to self confidence. Just put on what you like, pretend you’re not adjusting your outfit every few seconds or fearing every reflecting surface (which happens to me too) and after a while all this little things start to fade and you’re just over it.

So that’s it for me today, a few of my current thoughts, but I promise you staring next week, you gonna hear a lot more of me, cause I have so much to tell you guys! About Croatia, Glasgow, Graz, Helsinki but sadly also about bad criticism and mobbing / bodyshaming at work, but more about that soon. ????
